This Cookie Policy explains how Pulsar ("we," "us") uses cookies and similar storage technologies when you visit our marketing site or use the application at app.pulsarbot.cloud.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags. We use the term "cookies" throughout this policy to cover all of them.
2. What we use
Strictly necessary
- Session cookie (issued by WorkOS AuthKit). Signs you in and keeps you logged into your account. Without it, the app cannot function.
- CSRF token. Prevents cross-site request forgery against authenticated endpoints.
pulsar:themeinlocalStorage. Remembers your dark/light preference so the app doesn't flash on load.
Functional
- Preference cookies. Remember sidebar widths, last-open project, and recently used models, so your workspace feels consistent.
Analytics
We use PostHog for product analytics inside the application (not on this marketing site). PostHog sets cookies and uses local storage to assign a device/session identifier so we can measure pageviews, feature usage, and retention. For signed-in users we associate these events with your account (user ID, name, email) and organization. PostHog processes this data in the European Union (eu.i.posthog.com).
Advertising
We do not use advertising cookies.
3. Your choices
Most browsers let you clear cookies, block cookies, or set alerts before cookies are placed. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent the application from working. In jurisdictions that require consent (EU/EEA, UK), we will surface a banner before setting any non-essential cookie.
4. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
