These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Pulsar (the "Service"), operated by Starlight Search Inc. ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for all activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
2. Subscription plans and billing
The Service offers Free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe at the price listed on our Pricing page. Taxes may be added as required. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Plan limits (daily model-usage budget, project count, storage) are enforced server-side and defined in our Pricing page and internal plan configuration.
3. Managed models
Your subscription includes access to bundled AI models (currently GLM-5 and Minimax M2.5) up to your plan's daily model-usage budget. Usage is measured as the underlying provider cost of each request, across all chat sessions, and attributed to your organization. Unused daily budget does not roll over. We may add, remove, or substitute bundled models with reasonable notice.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law or third-party right.
- Generate or distribute illegal content, including CSAM, incitement to violence, or malware.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or circumvent technical restrictions of the Service.
- Attempt to exceed plan limits, share a single account across multiple users, or resell the Service without authorization.
- Use the Service to build a competing product that redistributes model access.
- Upload content you do not have the right to use.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Your content
You retain all rights in the files, prompts, and workspace content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant Starlight a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, display, and transmit Your Content solely as necessary to operate the Service on your behalf. We do not train models on Your Content.
6. Output
The Service may generate text, code, and other material ("Output") via third-party AI models. Output is provided "as is"; AI models can produce inaccurate or offensive content. You are responsible for reviewing Output before acting on it. Subject to applicable law, as between you and us, you own the Output generated in your workspace.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including the Pulsar software, logos, and documentation, is owned by Starlight or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service during the subscription term, in accordance with these Terms.
8. Suspension and termination
You may cancel at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, or create a security risk. On termination, your workspace data is deleted after 30 days unless law requires otherwise.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STARLIGHT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 100.
11. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold Starlight harmless from any claim arising out of your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or infringement of any third-party right.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless your local consumer-protection laws require otherwise.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms with reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
